Disposable Nights

So one of my all time favorite DJs came into town. Interesting as it is, I was not allowed to take my camera in to shoot the event. I was notified that there would be no SLR cameras allowed, but funny thing was there were about 8 people there with them. I guess they didn't get the same memo I did or something. Regardless I don't ever let anyone keep me from documenting the events in my life, so I went old school and took out a slightly modified "disposable camera". I had so much fun just snapping pictures around that I think I might have to start doing it more often, maybe start using my old film camera or something...but I might need to get a better film scanner.

Early Morning Drive

The other night I shot for ReadySetRave at their party at Jagz. It was a lot of fun and the music was great as always. My usual routine after shooting a party is to find some people to go out and eat with and wind down, then go home for a good sleep. Well the same happened except that this time while driving home at 8am I saw this on the side of the road and had to stop and take a few pictures....

Vegas in McAllen?!

So our friend Katie Vegas and Vik both had their birthdays this week and we all decided a themed party would be a great idea to celebrate. The DGE House was nice enough to host their invite only Vegas themed party....for all those that were there, I'm sure everyone could say it was a good time.

Last nights show could be described as being "beautiful" or "amazing". I was so impressed with everyone that decided to come out and show these bands some love. It was nice getting to see a lot of old faces that I hadn't seen in some time....

A Wicked Night....

The other day I ran into a friend who introduced me to another friend which turned out to be the owner of a "Gentleman's Club". Within a few minute of meeting these nice people, I was asked if I could come the next night to hang out, talk and maybe even take a few snap shots. I've didn't even think twice, in my mind nothing is too taboo and the chance to take pictures in a "club" like that is very rare. I know a few people might be offended by this and I'm sorry if I do. I tried to just put the pictures that were not too scandalous up, so that they are viewable at work/school.
