Its a Sunday Funday...

A few things I hate about Sunday...
-The mall closes early
-Chick-fil A is closed
-Mexican Resturants closed
-Banks are closed
-nothing to do

This Sunday I actually had a little fun though! My friend Steff had sent me a text earlier in the week to see what I was up to and hang out. I hadn't seen her since Spring Break and decided to invite her over and hang out. She was totally down to come over and visit with me, and with that I realized I need more friends like Steff. The ones that at 9pm on a Sunday will come over to hang out. She came over with her new hair cut and I decided that a photo shoot was in order.

here are some shots I liked...

It was a Splash...

So it was that time of the year again! The time when all the crazy people come out and play at South Padre Island. My friend Paul is the owner of Global Groove - London, which is the company that throws all the parties for Splash Weekend. I guess for those that don't know, Splash is the weekend that all the gays and lesbians come out to play. I don't know if that is the proper words to use, and I am sorry if I do offend anyone. This year it was held at Mooncussers, which was a plus for me as my friends always treat me well there.

here are some shots I took....
That's "Britney Spears..." and my buddy Travis making his money.

I am not going to lie, a sea of 2,000 people scared me a little.

There's Britney...actually its a dude. haha

Guys Day...

I had been holding off posting this blog because I wanted the pictures from the day out at the golf course. I sadly haven't been able to finish the film in the camera that I was using. I finally decided to just post them anyways.

this was after the day at the golf course and just pictures from us all being dumb at Mooncussers!

A Day with the Plain White T's...

So on Wednesday I had to wake up early and meet the guys from the Plain White T's at their hotel. Dougie and I drove them around the Valley to all sorts of things. The first stop was at a local radio station for an on air interview and live acoustic performance. I was really impressed with the whole process. Then after that we took the guys for some mexican food in Weslaco before heading to the next radio station. At the second station they had a private 3 song acoustic set for some radio contestant winners. The guys were really nice and down to earth, talking to all their fans and even filling us in on the story behind "Hey There Delilah". After all that we had to run some errands, grab some more food and finally the big show!

I was so glad to see that so many people came out to support a DGE show, I hope the trend continues. Tonight is SILVERSTEIN and A Static Lullaby...should be a fun night!

Here are pictures from the day with the guys....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME....vegas style

Well I made sure that I would have some pictures up from my Vegas trip for my birthday and I succeeded at getting them up. I am actually really mad at myself for not taking more pictures while there. Honestly though, I think a lot had to do that with the fact that I was always busy doing something. If we went out, the clubs usually would not let professional cameras into their places. So I was really limited to where and when I could take pictures.

I had a great time in Vegas, except 8 days was just TOO many days to be in that city. I missed all my friends and can't wait to see everyone soon. The Vegas trip consisted of VIP treatment at LAVO in The Palazzo, a room at the Wynn, with lunch at Stratta not once but twice, a night at LAX in the Luxor, and of course the day time party at "the beach" at Mandalay Bay. Except I am leaving something out, and that's Sunday, when we all went to have brunch at Simon's which is in The Palms Place by the pool. I had an amazing time and ran into the likes of Pete Wentz, Holly Madison, and almost all the contestants for the Miss USA 2009 pageant.

hope you enjoy the photos and see everyone soon!
