Hundreds of Beer

Its really nice when your friends own a beer bar. I get to enjoy a nice relaxing time a few days out of the week with my friends. Sadly I am not very big on drinking beer, but I'm starting to get a taste for a few certain types. If you haven't made it out to the bar, you should definitely stop by one day and visit. They are always having some sort of event going on, I've been to Sunday afternoon BBQ or Monday Night Football nights.

Here's a shot of the taps and a few of the many bottles of beer they have. For those of you that don't drink beer, they have wine as well.

That bar has the potential of being really great. BUT, the people that work there need to know a thing or two about beer. I've been there about 3 times and I have been disappointed. They need to learn what Pale Ale is and when a customer asks them about them, direct them to the right one. They also MUST LEARN how to pour beers. All different types of beer have different amounts of head.

Tell your friends to HIRE PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING OR LEARN!!!

Sorry to hear about your hard times at the bar. If you are looking for a pale ale, then there are a variety of beers on tap that you could try and sample. It seems you know your beer and know what you like already. I would just talk to the people working and if possible ask for Alex when you have a question about a beer. They still have yet to do a Grand Opening, this is still all soft. I am sure they will see this and like to better serve you though. Its a shame that negative comments are always left as "anonymous"

It wasn't a negative comment. It was a remark to better this bar. Like I said, "that bar has the potential of being really great." Ever heard of constructive criticism?
I do know my beers, but I have heard other clients ask for a Pale Ale and they are given Spaten.

As an owner, I appreciate the feedback. Your right, I don't know everything about beer. We as a team have decided to brush up our skills in efforts to better serve our patrons. Next time your in, and we answer you incorrectly, just correct us. We are all willing to listen and learn.

Cheers!
